Portia von Petrie is a beautiful 2-3 year old German Shepherd. Of medium-to-high energy, this girl is as sweet as she is confident. And, of course, she is smart; she came to us with no basic training but shows that she can learn quickly. With a few leash corrections, she walks well on leash, even when in the company of a canine buddy. Portia feels so good when we show her affection, whether it be massaging her head and running your hand the length of her body; she nearly smiles in contentment. In doggie playgroups Portia is no wallflower; she confidently mingles with everyone and will not back down if another dog gets aggressive with her. This sweet girl who is very certain of herself dreams of going home with an active family and a leader who asserts him/herself as head of the pack, whom she will respect.
